New Years Eve

New Years Eve is just as crazy as the other nights. I usually hate New Years and going back in time I haven't had fun for the past ten years. The expectations are always too high and the outcome always disappointing. Not this time. This decade ended better than I could ever have thought. I'll spare you the details and will leave you with a peak of the outfit.

Nuts

My trip is absolutely nuts.... It rains the whole time so no one does any skiing. Instead we spend our time playing around drinking wine. A quiet night at home ends in complete mayhem: 12 bottles of wine and two bottles of cognac consumed between 6 people. The fact that we have a crazy French staying with us doesn't help - he's one of the most hilarious people I've ever met. At lunch in a hotel in Gstaad he takes off his pants and hands them to the waiter to have them shortened. I guess the staff working in the various hotels and restaurants in Gstaad are used to most ridiculous requests so his pants are taken away without a frown. The French trots off wearing boxers, knee high socks, a shirt and a coat. Walks into one of the fancy stores on the high street flashing his boxers while asking for a pair of pants. His brand new red pants are pictured above.

Hello Gstaad!

I'm a bit late when it comes to my posts so this goes back to the 27th of Dec. Off to Gstaad to visit some friends, wow it feels good to leave rainy and gray Sweden where I spent Christmas. After a very delayed and smelly Easy Jet flight I arrive in the village that's just as decadent as expected. Amazing food, well dressed people and great service wherever you go. The first night is spent dining with my friend N and his family at Hotel Olden, Bernie Eckelstein's latest project.

Getting started

It's taken a few years of debating with myself whether to do it or not. Am I the type of person who wants to share my life with the entire web? Or should I keep all the sordid details to myself and my closest friends? What the heck! The past year has been ridiculously fun and a lot of people have asked me to blog about it so why not - let's do it. I will share with you my stories from every day life along with my thoughts on fashion, beauty, music, men, art and all other things that make me tick.
